They only use tests based on the value to see if it is profitable to resell.  You can only get expert advice from an expert who has studied metals. Delicate jewelry requires extra care. We offer jewelry repairs. We are not responsible for those costs. Any jewelry that is in your possession after purchase and needs to be repaired is your responsibility.
